I highly recommend Maria! She always cuts and styles my hair exactly how I want. I’m so happy I was able to find her again. I’ve been going to her for years at hair cuttery at Kensington triangle and she has now moved over to IHD, which I absolutely love for her! The staff and atmosphere are so welcoming, and everything is clean and organized. The layout of the salon is not overcrowded, they have the perfect amount of space between each client. Today she cut mine and my sister's hair, and we’re so in love with it! It came out exactly how we wanted. She takes her time and makes sure you get exactly what you ask for. 10/10 experience

UPDATED to 4 stars. The owner, Jade, reached out to me on Google reviews to remedy the situation. I went back to the salon and Jade made changes to my haircut which ultimately made it a significantly better style and much more tolerable as I continue to grow out my hair. Jade was understanding, accommodating and nonjudgemental. She understood the style I was initially going for and did the best she could to provide that for me. She is very skilled! I appreciate her dedication to customer satisfaction and I am happy with the haircut result. Thank you, Jade!1 star review: Worst haircut I have had in years. I was a walk in appointment. Hair was washed with shampoo, no conditioner. The lady who cut my hair had another client at the same time and was alternating between us. It felt rushed. I showed her a picture of the style I wanted and told her I didn’t want to lose much of my length because I am growing out my hair. I have curly/wavy hair and she cut and styled it straight. She kept cutting length off and I told her I didn’t want anymore cut off, but now one side was a half inch shorter so she had to keep trimming to even it out.She cut my hair the way she wanted to and it looked a lot like her hairstyle. It was not remotely close to the style I asked for. It was uneven and every part of my hair that normally curls out now falls flat because she butchered my hair. I am going to go to another salon to get it fixed and ultimately will have to lose even more length. I will not return.

Had Maria do my haircut and blow out and she did such an amazing job. I’ve always avoid salons from horrible previous experiences but after having my services done with Maria I’ll never let anyone else touch my hair ever again. She was highly recommended by mom and aunt. I’ll be recommending her to all my friends and family as well 10/10Services: Blowouts
