Our 7 month old GIANT lab stayed there for 5 nights. It was his first trip away from home and he had an absolute blast. The communication from the staff was fantastic. You can tell they truly care about the animals they look after. He even learned some new skills while he was there. Can't wait to go back!
Our nine-year-old dog, Aaron, stayed at Chesapeake Pet Resort for five days, and this was the first time he had ever stayed anywhere away from us. Because Aaron has always been aggressive toward other dogs, we were understandably nervous—but the staff made his stay an incredible experience.
To our surprise, Aaron became friendly with the staff and even got along with other dogs. He completely made liars out of us—and we couldn’t be happier about it! We finally found a place where we feel comfortable leaving him, and we’re also planning to work with their trainers so we can learn how to walk him more successfully around groups.

We had a wonderful experience with Chesapeake Pet Resort! They took amazing care of our dogs, Buck and Bambi, while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such great hands. The staff sent us photos and updates throughout their stay, which meant so much to us and showed how well they were being cared for. Buck and Bambi came home happy, healthy, and clearly loved on. We are so grateful for the excellent care and attention they received. We highly recommend Chesapeake Pet Resort to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and trustworthy place to board their pets!
