Nice guy who failed to meet expectations. Hired to build a detached two story garage with bathroom. Job included rough in of upstairs as well as electrical and plumbing.Job was not his priority and took over a year and a half to complete with multiple months of no progress. I understand delays happen, but no shows were the standard not the exception and courtesy calls were nonexistent.There were multiple items there were not done properly or not as requested. Most items were fixed, but not without extensive delays and negotiations.Quality/completeness of work declined significantly from the beginning to the end of the job and required attention on my part.

Unfortunately, this contractor, Chapman's Construction, did not display professional craftsmanship nor did he respond to questions in a timely fashion. We hired Mr. Chapman this past July to complete an addition onto a house we purchased in Hollywood, Maryland. This was a master bedroom and bathroom addition. We received a quote of 90 days to complete the job. However, this work did not get completed for seven months. Many delays happened because Mr. Chapman took on other larger jobs and let our smaller job slide behind.
