My first appointment with her was for a haircut (layered cut), which she did a great job and at the same time, I had a good chat with her about the possibility of trying some subtle highlights on my hair. “My first interaction with Brian was over the phone, where I conveyed what I needed done and he provided some background on electrolysis. With said information, I decided to make an appointment. I arrived at Village Electrolysis early one Saturday morning and found a nice unassuming building near Northern Parkway. The Village Electrolysis office gave me old world decor vibes, but when it was time for business, all the modern bells and whistles were available. Brian greeted me and had me fill out a brief medical history form. He then gave me a very detailed explanation about the various electrolysis methods and processes and which one would be best for my situation, etc etc. After that, I practically leapt on the table to receive my first treatment. NGL and say electrolysis feels good, because it doesn't. HOWEVER, Brian made it as painless as possible, while being incredibly thorough. I've had laser hair removal treatments before and they were unpleasant, marked with the smell of burning hair. Electrolysis with Brian was 1,000x better. Several days later I am happy to report micro pigmentation has barely occurred (with laser I suffered HUGE dark spots I had to cover with concealer) and the hair has left the building for the time being. Very happy with my first treatment and will be riding this train with Brian until all the hair is gone.“

“I have heard that you are supposed to grow out of things like horribly bad skin well after puberty ends. Apparently, my face never got the memo and we have been in a constant battle ever since. Deciding that I did not want to continue this battle into my 30's, I came to Longevity Medical Spa for help. I actually ended up here on accident for a completely different thing but found out I read the Living Social I purchased deal wrong. Having already paid for said deal, Dr. Baltazar did not fault my ignorance (ie. lack of reading) and talked to me about other issues eventually landing on my major issue: my face. We settled on doing the VI Facial Peel and despite being a little Oompa Loompa-ish for a couple of days and then peeling like a banana for two more, I am very happy with the results. With a follow up treatment of microdermabrasion, it has given me even better results. My face seems to have done a 180 and we are peace for now. With the help of Dr. Baltazar, I have a little more confidence walking out the door and maybe, just maybe, my face and I can finally call a truce.“
