My family has been going to Anwar and Amal for 23 years, and they have become friends. They are both very warm and great with kids and adults.

Amal is the one who cuts my hair, and she always checks in about what I want and delivers. Recently, I have started coloring my hair, and I have been pleased with the results. She is also good at letting me know how to fix it.

I like this no frills shop for my haircuts. Affordable. Efficient. Reliable. And my hair looks good.

I left a review here years ago and I thought I should update it -- and this is when I realized just how many years ago I left my original review (it is no longer visible). I have been coming here for over 20 years, would not go anywhere else! Excellent quality and the best things is -- Amal will find what works best for you and your hair even if you don't know what it is. She is great with giving advice and making the style work for your hair type.

As a guy with curly hair I've had a fair share of experiences where I've gotten a not great haircut or had to sit through an extended session because the stylist was struggling. Not so with Anwar he's quick and confident and that's exactly what you want right? He and his wife (who handles women's cuts/styles) operate this small shop in Old Greenbelt. My wife has also visited several times and has always had a great experience. As an added bonus their prices are on the affordable side too. Highly recommended
