“This was my first time at Modern Muse and it certainly won’t be my last. First of all, Kamaria was extremely kind and accommodating. I made a mistake and was running late for my appointment and she was flexible with me around her existing appointments.

When I arrived, the space was clean and beautiful and everything felt very sanitary - no clutter or disorganization.

I got three services: 30 minute express whitening, a medium sized tooth gem, and eyebrow shaping. I’ve never had my teeth h whitened nor have I ever gotten a tooth gem and Kamaria was extremely thorough. She explained each step of the process and made sure I was comfortable throughout. My only recommendation would be to ask questions before booking so that you can book the right thing for what you’re looking for. For me, I probably should have booked an hour for the whitening service but I booked first and asked questions later. Even with that she accommodated me, lightened my teeth by several shades and recommended that I return in four weeks (which I will). She also provided honest and professional advice on which size tooth gem I should get to match my style and preferences without being too over the top.

Once my teeth were done she moved on to brows. I’ve had a hard time finding someone to shape my brows the way I like for at least a decade. I didn’t have any photos, but I provided her with a verbal descriptions and she NAILED IT.

“If you were looking for a sign for whether or not you should go here, consider this the sign! Sammy was incredible. I got my eyebrows done and they have never looked better! She was efficient, she paused several times to make sure I liked the shape of my brows, the products she used were gentle on my skin, and oh my gosh was the decor so amazing (she even decorated the ceiling!). I came for a brow wax and I will 100% be going back for future touch ups. Honestly, I think I’ll start booking other wax services through Sammy, too.“

“Look no further!! Vina is the the queen of eyebrows. As soon as you walk in everyone is nice and friendly. The ambiance sets the mood the music gives it a very relaxing vibe. Upon going I was very nervous because I have very sensitive skin and didn’t know if I was going to have an reaction. First I wanted to get the micro blading but she explained to the difference between shading and blading and chose to get my eyebrows micro-shaded. 25 min after the numbing cream she begins the process and it does not hurt at all… the healing process was amazing and I’m obsessed with brows they look so natural definitely the best investment that I rewarded myself with … Don’t think about it hit that call button“

I started following Paula on IG back in 2019 when she was in Atlanta, which I so wanted to visit I was turning 50 and needed a new cut/style, however it never happened. I freshen her memory about when I sent her information about my Fashion Show for the NCA support, we chatted briefly about marriages over 50 and the fact that I had never been to Atlanta lol. “I was really excited when I found this place as it looks so clean on the inside and staff was friendly, but they are a little pricey. I paid $40 for a pedicure (no gel color or color at all— just plain base top coat) and did a manicure and was charged $25 for that! I was shocked. I just knew I would pay around $25 - $30 tops for the pedicure and $15 for the basic manicure (no color- no nothing). Overall experience was fine, but I definitely thought the prices don’t match for the area that they’re located in at all.“
