She took the time to sit down with me and make sure that was really what I wanted to do. She also helped me to decide on the type of style I wanted just by asking me a few questions. She also prepared me for the adjustment period that I may need to having such short after having long hair for years. My hair has never been this short and natural so she showed me what products to use and how to style it, and also gave me some other very helpful information to reveal any underlying issues with my hair. I selected this salon because I was kinda drawn to it after reviews….I received all that I expected and so much more. She was right, it is an adjustment, but I love it more every time I look at it? “I was pleasantly surprised by the brow waxing at Shubh Beauty. They are located inside the Bowie Walmart, so I've passed by countless times, and finally decided to stop in today. I wasn't sure if I wanted wax or thread, as I've done both in the past, but I ended up going with threading and my brows came out so clean and neat. “My experience at the salon was great. Aliah was my wonderful stylist. I couldn’t stop looking at my hair on the way home. It was perfect! I actually called her randomly looking for someone on Google and asked if I could just come to get a ponytail installed. She took her time with my hair and made sure I was comfortable. She was super nice and very professional. The aesthetics and cleanliness of the salon was outstanding. I couldn’t thank her enough for taking me so last minute. My hair turned out beautifully. Aliah just doesn’t know how much of a blessing she was to me taking me at such short notice!

Also, the guy (didn’t get his name) that has the booth next to her does great work as well. As I was getting in her chair he had a client he was just finishing up. Very, very pretty.
