I arranged for a playing trial of several advanced beginner violins. Andrew was very helpful and had 4 fine samples of excellent instruments available for me to hear.After allowing me to listen and rule out 1 of the 4 he then offered his assessment of the ease of playing and character of the remaining three.Being a musician,I appreciated his attention to detail and the ease of picking an excellent instrument for my needs.I choose this shop because of their reputation among musicians and the customer friendly policies. This knowledgeable staff set me up with my first violin, bow and case. They demonstrated how to handle and care for the instrument. I was pleased with their professional yet patient manner. Nice place, nice people.
