We needed our new storm door windows to have a privacy film as well as a heat gain block installed. After deciding on what type of film I wanted, I contacted a few different companies in the area that are authorized installers. I received quotes of up to $1,000.00 for this small job. Most companies wanted a minimum for travel. Probably a "poison pill" to be able to politely decline the job. One company & one man - David Brown the owner of General Solar contacted me and without out fuss offered to send me samples & gave a ballpark price that was reasonable & there was no mention of a travel fee.
