District Dance is a leading recreational and competitive dance studio in Gaithersburg, MD and surrounding suburbs, offering a range of classes for children ages 2-18. With a supportive family environment, the studio empowers girls and young women to be leaders and nurtures their confidence through dance. The staff guides students of all levels, from beginners to seniors in high school, in styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, and hip-hop. Many students have been with the studio for years, praising the variety of classes, mentorship, and encouragement they receive. The studio also fosters friendships and a sense of community, making it a beloved destination for families.
My granddaughter's first dance recital was a wonderful experience! The staff was organized and professional, everything ran on time, and the lighting and sound were excellent. Most importantly, the dancers looked like they were having so much fun. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
My granddaughter takes the Jazz/Hip Hop class and absolutely loves it. Ms Kelsey is a fantastic teacher who has helped make dance such a positive experience for her. We couldn't have been more impressed with the recital and look forward to many more!
As parents of a dedicated dancer who competes at a high level and trains here five to six days a week, we could not be happier with our experience. She absolutely loves what she does, and because she is so committed, we want to fully support her. District Dance has made it incredibly easy for us to do exactly that while becoming an active part of a wonderful community.

District Dance is a second home for my daughter! It's a welcoming community with excellent teachers who encourage her growth year after year. The studio provides fun opportunities that foster friendships and excitement around her dance lessons!!! From ballet, recitals, dance competitions, and more, we love to see our daughter shine with our favorite studio going on 5 years now!!!
