Bartlett’s is more expensive than other services. But they are friendly, knowledgeable and flexible, which makes up that difference . I was very happy I went with them for backyard mature oak tree trimming and soil nutrition. Their forester walked the property with me and gave me great tree advice - not only about the tree I was concerned with. And their pruning crew was efficient and friendly. They even offered to cut and stack the downed branches into firewood for me!

For many many years, Bartlett has been considered the best in the Washington area. They continue to deserve this reputation. Our trees were (quite tall and too wide) were pruned back perfectly and just as important, everything was totally spotless when they finished. Honestly it was perfect at our Georgetown house.

The quality this year has gone completely downhill since Joel Spano left. Lots of scheduling problems and lack of customer service is very apparent. Our Crape Myrtle’s are dying from an Aphid infestation. We are looking for another company. The prices for what you are now getting is beyond unacceptable!
UPDATE: John and Dylan are trying to make things right. Hopefully we can get back to the service we've had for years past. This was one of the few companies we dealt with that was never a hassle. That's why we were so confused as to what had happened. Especially since we've been customers since 2018.
