Beginning of story. My wife and I have renovated several properties and we act as the general contractor. Recently we just completed a renovation of a bathroom at our home. We did a lot of the work ourselves and had specialty contractors as needed. We had an exiting tub and we planned to mount sliding glass doors. The wall that the sliding door would close to had a step-back so the door would not be able to match up to the wall without leaving a large gap. All that needed was to add a strip of glass to pad out the step-back allowing the sliding door to mate with the wall and glass strip. I contacted 3 different glass companies, showed them a drawing for the glass panel needed. Each said “it can’t be done”. I was surprised they could not do such an easy job. Just mount a small piece of glass. End of story: I contacted Nathan at Midland Glass. His Immediate reply was “that’s easy” we can do that. I had them do the work. Nathan and his assistant, Tayler, were amazing. His communication was excellent. Set up appointments, called to confirm when he would arrive and was there as scheduled. Came to the house and took measurements while the bathroom was under renovation and came back again to verify measurement before he had the glass panel cut and had the doors made. Can’t say enough good things about Nat and Tyler. Prompt, courteous, kept work area clean. An amazing and professional team. The price for the job was extremely reasonable for the scope of work. In dealing with many contractors, they stand out above the rest. I give them the highest recommendation if you are looking for glass bathroom enclosures
