Phenomenal music store in Frederick! Ryan is my guy and always gets me set up with the best gear for any of my music needs. Recently popped a string on my EVH Wolfgang just 2 days before playing at my graduation ceremony. I called up Ryan and asked if I could bring it in and have it fixed up with short notice. No problem at all and they did it in the shop for me! Great service, great people, and even better instruments! Thank you again Make n Music Frederick!!!
Friendly people and excellent service. I bought an acoustic guitar here that unfortunately had a factory defect. Disappointing, but it happens. Rick went way out of his way to get it taken care of quickly with the manufacturer. Thanks again Rick!Even my first visit there when the store was super busy, I was noodling with one of the acoustics and asked a question about the setup. Rick took the time to make a quick adjustment just so I could get a better feel for the guitar.There are lots of options for buying guitars online. But I definitely recommend working with people who really know their stuff and are more than willing to help. I'll definitely be back!
Great shop, very helpful staff. Very much prefer working with these folks over the big chains. My only gripe that seems consistent across all guitar shops around Frederick and beyond is the selection of gear. This shop focuses on PRS, Ibanez and Fender leaving a lot left to be desired. And I get it, local shops get strong armed by excessive and exclusive dealership agreements with massive initial and the continuing commitments so it’s difficult to carry variety when competing against the online and chain retailers. Just frustrating I can’t test in person any schecters, charvel, gretsch, ESP, seagull, cordoba etc. Same goes for the amp selection. I just hope this shop...read full review
