The post by James Kennedy needs some corrections. One, I was his instructor, not the person he mentions. She wasn't even in the building during his class session and had no contact with him. I do not, nor have I ever, allowed a dog in my class to be struck for refusing to do something. If a handler were to do that they would be warned and then dismissed from class if it happened again.
We at BAD understand that most of our students are there to learn something new and have fun with their dogs. We welcome and encourage these teams. I have never threatened to FAIL (I don't use that word with students) a dog and handler, nor have I individually called out a...read full review
