Magass Family Medicine & Urgent Care

Had a few people recommend this practice for a new primary care provider. I had my first appointment today and they were timely, clean, friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely will go back.

I have been a patient for the last four years within that period of time. The service has always been excellent from the front desk. Staff to the medical staff always gave me clear and precise information in regarding my health. I would definitely recommend this as a primary care facility that you would want to be a part of Respectfully Mr. Massey.

First, this office does not have a doctor, but a nurse practitioner. This is not made clear on the website at all, which is very misleading. From reading the reviews, it seems many people think they saw a doctor. Is there someone else there that I don't know about? Second, the practitioner gave very bad medical advice.

Great staff and amazing doctors. They are extremely thorough and I never feel rushed. They also take care of my mother and spend extra time with her. Always available when needed. Couldn't be happier with their care.

I kept feeling like I was having heart attacks and no other doctors office could see me for at least 3 or 4 months to even attempt to see what the problem was and I didn't receive any kind of news from the er. The entire staff at Magass immediately found me an appointment within a day of me calling and figured out what was happening and started a treatment plan. Had it not been for their team I'd still be waiting for answers.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Magass after being involved in a recent car accident. Despite being in severe pain and needing medical attention, I was refused an appointment with my current primary care physician because I hadn't visited the office in three years. When I reached out to Magass, they assured me that I could be seen as a new patient the very next day, which offered me a glimmer of hope.

However, this initial reassurance quickly faded. I filled out all the necessary claim information related to my car accident, but even after almost two weeks, there was still no adjuster assigned to my claim. All they should have needed was the claim # and name of Insurance, but that wasn't good enough for them. During my appointment, I was left waiting for an excruciating FOUR hours, with my pain steadily worsening. In desperation, I began pacing the waiting room, unsure of what to do next.

Finally, after hours of waiting, a staff member informed me that the doctor would not see me because I didn't have an adjuster assigned to the auto claim yet. To make matters worse, they refused to accept my health insurance card due to the accident (I have care first, and they accept that, but won't accept it if it's for a auto accident). In my desperation, I offered to pay for the visit in full with my credit card, but they declined this option as well.

Feeling defeated, I had no choice but to leave and drive myself to the emergency room. I shouldn't have had to endure FOUR hours of waiting only to be refused treatment. This experience was incredibly disheartening, and I believe no one should be treated in this manner, especially when they are in need of medical care.
