I've been going to see Dr. Young Kim for acupuncture, and he's been really great. He's so sincere and patient with me. He takes time to listen and understand how I'm feeling, both in my body and in my mind. He doesn't rush through things. He explains everything about the treatment carefully. I feel really comfortable and cared for when I'm with him. He has a big heart, and when he does the acupuncture, it's like he knows where I need help, not only physically but also emotionally. If you're looking for an acupuncturist, I highly recommend Dr. Young Kim. He's the one who can make you feel better inside and out.

Young Kim is a scam artist. He gave me a 20 minutes unprofessional massage and charged $70. No wonder he doesn’t get busy. Offering sale on Groupon still has no customers come.

It was my first time going to an acupuncturist and was pretty nervous, however, Dr. Kim was extremely patient and took his time explaining the process to me. He walked me thru the acupuncture needle application process so I was aware of when and where I was going to feel the needle prick. To my relief, it was not painful at all and I found the entire process quite relaxing, I actually took a quick 10 minute nap. Will be going back to Dr Kim for regular sessions now and I couldn't recommend him more!

Dr. Kim first assessed my health needs and history. He kindly explained how the body receives acupuncture to help promote healing. He then did my first treatment session and used a few modalities to work on my concerns. After the session, he discussed a timeline for treatment. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained very well the expectation of treatment. I am profoundly pleased I found Dr. Kim.

Not all acupuncturists are created equal. There are levels just as with anything else. Mr. Kim is top shelf, and I consider him a healer in the truest sense of the word. Not only is he highly skilled, but the man is intuitive as if he feels your pain and homes in on it like he shares your own pain receptors!Mr. Kim’s rates are unbeatable, and he will use all the tools at his disposal that he deems necessary. He is not just about the money. He really cares and it shows. In addition to acupuncture, Mr. Kim may also utilize acupressure and his own physical therapy techniques along with simple contraptions I’ve never seen used anywhere else.The results can be life changing. He was able to cure my sciatica and my herniated disk pain in a relatively short time. If you’re afraid of needles I must inform you that the sessions are mostly very relaxing. Ask yourself this question: What was the best money you ever spent? Walking into Dr. Kim's office was one of the most consequential hours of my life. I was injured at work over a year and a half ago. As a result of that incident, my sleep had been terrible. I'd be up multiple times throughout the night and life was similar to sleepwalking as I was always exhausted. Additionally, there were issues with my stomach related to the injury that never resolved and plagued me. On my first visit to his office, I walked out of there feeling a stillness in myself and more energy than I had felt in years. It didn't really land until I got home that my stomach was... quiet? The discomfort that had been my daily companion was gone. I don't necessarily expect that one visit will magically *poof* me into being fixed, but I have hope now and that is a thing that had abandoned me. Filling out the questionnaire for my initial visit, there was a question about stress. I didn't check it or note it because I figured we're all stressed, right? My level of craziness wasn't anything special. As Dr. Kim was interviewing me, he asked about stress in my life and I waved it away. My days aren't spent standing over an open chest cavity yelling "Is the helicopter here with the heart yet?" or anything that dramatic. He examined me and said "You're stressed." Fair enough... (_) I'd note that Dr. Kim explained what he was doing at every step of the process and it was very educational. The odd thing in my experience was that when he placed the needle for "sleep", there was a sensation beyond the quiet presence of the painless needle. It was almost like an electrical current was buzzing at that one spot and that sensation remained constant throughout the treatment. On the night after the first appointment, I slept. I can't really explain that in accurate detail beyond that I was probably a month or two away from my own Tyler Durden/Fight Club meltdown and now I don't have to scrap my credit rating to go sleep in a leaky rundown house with a bunch of other screwups (‿) I had tried a different acupuncturist once before and my results were unimpressive, but Dr. Kim may just have changed my life. I should like to note that this bubbling enthusiasm is wholly uncharacteristic of me. As a child, when Tinkerbell went down for the count and the audience was supposed to clap (I'm old...), I just scowled at the screen and refused to play along. But here, I really feel like I had to speak up. Don't let this bubbly optimism throw you. Normally, I'm not that guy - but for ChoiceOne Oriental Medicine Care - somebody needs to get the word out. If anybody else can get the kind of results I did, it could truly change someone's life for the better.

Dr. Young Kim does phenomenal work! I found him on Groupon and wanted to try out acupuncture. I had recently had a traumatic experience and I was looking for any healing technique that could help release anger and get my energy moving. For 3 months I had been in a funk.After my first appointment with Dr. Kim I felt good, but days later I felt exhausted. I mean, I could still work, but I was tired. When I researched I learned that my body was healing and that if and when I feel exhausted I should let my body rest. I slept off and on, most of the day, for about 3 days. I hadn't slept that good in years.When I returned to him one week later, for my second treatment, he noticed right away that I was looking better. He truly has an eye and operates also from his intuition. So we started the session. I don't know what it is that he did to me but I have not felt this whole in sometime. I feel good!When I left his office I cried in the car. So much anger and trauma was released. I'm sending all my love ones to him. Ihave so much energy. I feel light. The anger is gone. He told me I was cured, but I just want to keep going back. I pray this feeling last forever.

Dr. Kim is beyond amazing. I was having hip issues when I 1st saw him & he helped me take care of that & now we’re working on my migraines. I highly recommend visiting him for any type of pain you might be experiencing.
