I can’t say enough about Sit-means-Sit in Elkton. Haley was an amazing trainer who was very patient with my grand pup and was awesome at helping us train him as well. I could tell Maka had a good training relationship with her which meant a lot. She always updated me on his progress and had full confidence that he was eager to learn; in which he was. Maka is now walking by my side, heeling, sitting, recalling and most importantly, he knows where his “place” is. This is a huge accomplishment.
I am very pleased. I highly recommend Sit-Means-Sit.

After Hobie’s training at Sit Means Sit it is a pleasant experience when we take him in the car. He’s calm and lays down in the back seat. Before that he was always barking at everything! Heather did an excellent job with all his training and we’ve enjoyed the additional training classes. Great job 👏

Sit Means Sit is a life saver! They really helped improve the behavior in our hound. We had trouble with resource guarding and in 4 weeks, we saw a huge improvement. Our dog is now listening and obeying commands. The entire staff there is great and dedicated to helping your dog. Our dog, Brownie, showed so much improvement after just the first day of training! Kasey was so patient and knowledgeable with him and with us. He learned great new leash skills and we learned how to deal with him in distracting environments. He is so much more pleasant to walk with now. Brownie loved everyone there and was so excited every week when we dropped him off. We can’t wait to get started with group classes. Highly recommend Sir Means Sit!

It’s been an awesome experience for both me and my dog. He went through four full day of training with the trainer and now we are starting our group classes, had our first one yesterday. It was so much fun. It’s wonderful being able to take my dog on a walk and not be pulled around through the neighborhood. Highly recommend a 10 out of 10.😍

We had an amazing experience this past week with our puppy, Kolton! Everyone was so welcoming and made us feel so comfortable in leaving him in their hands! Looking forward to our future lessons! The change in just a week is absolutely noticeable and it could not have been done without the dedication from all of the staff! 100% recommend for anyone looking for a training facility for their dog! We brought Beau in as a two month old puppy not knowing a whole lot about training high energy dogs like him. We were immediately welcomed by Kasey as our evaluator. We were told all the information we needed and were NOT hassled to make a decision, we were told the prices up front and recommended a program for Beau. Our decision could not have been any smarter to go with SMS Elkton. The puppy classes were led by trainers Quinn, Heather, and Kasey, they helped us teach an understanding of our goals for Beau and taught us the basics of puppy training for him. Then during the day classes, our report cards were always positive, always on time, and communication from them was phenomenal. Beau had some hard times and was a stubborn puppy at points but the SMS Elkton trainers worked relentlessly to get him to where he needed to be. The collar is wonderful and I never leave the house without it. We are now onto group classes and Beau is so much more well mannered than he was when we started. And he loves his trainers! We are onto group classes now and I could not be happier with the decision we made to go with SMS Elkton (we even get compliments from people who meet Beau for the first time and how well trained he is). I LOVE SMS ELKTON!!

Thank goodness for Sit Means Sit Elkton!
Ranger is the newest addition to my family, and with three active boys I wanted to make sure he was well behaved, confident, and considerate of myself and his brothers. When I first introduced him to my family he instantly treated the boys as litter mates and displayed A LOT of puppy behaviors. The team at Sit Means Sit Elkton assured me this was not unusual and that they would teach Ranger and myself the techniques we needed to lessen those undesired behaviors. Boy were they correct!
Heather was the main trainer that I worked with and she was super helpful and patient with me. I also got to work with Quinn and she also was amazing! I never truly understood how much thought, patience, and coordination it takes to train a puppy, but I sure know now! After each day Ranger stayed at puppy school, it was my turn to learn all about the things he worked on that day. The staff at Sit Means Sit Elkton encouraged me, kindly corrected my techniques, and patiently modeled their expectations.
I truly appreciate a company like Sit Means Sit that stands confidently behind their training and techniques. I know I made the right choice when using them to help me with Ranger and I highly recommend their services.

Daniel’s team had no hesitations that they would be able to help us work through it. Kasey was so welcoming and considerate during our evaluation. And she matched us up with our soul trainer Ms. Quinn! Quinn and Archie had a bond from day one and we absolutely loved working with her! She made the experience so positive and customized to our needs. This team can handle anything and does it with a smile. They truly feel like family! Daniel’s team had no hesitations that they would be able to help us work through it. Kasey was so welcoming and considerate during our evaluation. And she matched us up with our soul trainer Ms. Quinn! Quinn and Archie had a bond from day one and we absolutely loved working with her!
