Great time. I enjoyed the trails and the sunny patio. I even deadlifted the old-school strongman equipment, watches birds, and sat in the library.
Next time I'll book a room with a tub and the spa treatments for the complete experience. It was a great escape from the city.

I was coming In from Ohio to see my son for his senior game for lacrosse. My mother had cancer and I had plans for people to come stay with her because it was one of her iffy days. The person did not show and I had to bring my mom with me because she could not be left alone on those iffy days. I drove all night and had been looking for rooms in Wilmington. I was not going to get a room. I was just going to drive there and back to Ohio after dinner. But my mom was going to need a room and since she was with me I started looking. We had a lovely long weekend stay at Elk Lodge. Throughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the location, the grounds, and the breakfast!! And the proprietor was so helpful and kind. We will definitely stay again!
