Bill, who provided the quote, went above and beyond with his presentation by making multiple trips to our home to show us shingle color options by providing us with real shingles to look at rather than small samples. He also showed us samples of the underlayment and explained the entire process. The crew that installed the roof, led by project manager Phil, worked 15 hours on a record hot day (in the 90’s in May) to get the roof completely finished. They ran out of daylight during cleanup and used flashlights to finish to ensure a clean and completed job sight. Phil returned the next morning to inspect the roof and make sure if there was any stray debris that he could remove it. We will certainly consider them for future projects.“

The subcontractors Sundance brought in were true masters of their craft. Each one showed extraordinary pride in their work, and it’s visible in every detail throughout the house.

And then there’s Brad and Derek, our general contractors—where do I even begin? Brad, in particular, treated this home as if it were his own. He caught details we would never have noticed, correcting and perfecting them—even if it meant taking extra time. His eye for perfection gave us a final product beyond what we could have imagined, and his advice became something I leaned on constantly. Derek was equally invested, ensuring the entire process was executed with the highest level of care.

Yes, we went over budget. And I can honestly say I don’t regret a single dollar. The end result is a home that not only respects its original design but shines brighter than ever before.
