I recently went under contract to purchase a home on Severn River and had some concerns based on our home inspection.
I learned from the county that Statewide is one of only 3 companies to do perc testing for the county. The testing requires equipment that only a few of the contractors possess.
I reached out to the company and they quickly elevated my call to the owner, Mr. Alvin Sutphin. Alvin knows the area had been in business for a long time and agreed to come out to take a look at the system. He provided great feedback and measured the depth of the drywell to weigh in on the system's maintenance and overall condition.
After a ton of research and recommendations from neighbors, I selected Statewide to pump out my septic tank. Wendy, who works in the office, was easy to work with and was down-to-earth and respectful. The two gentlemen who arrived at the scheduled time were also very pleasant. They taught me a couple things about my system and didn’t mind my curiosity as I watched and learned. They also offered me a group discount, so I drummed up some additional pump-out services for others in my neighborhood. Will definitely be using them again in the future. This was for service in Dunkirk, Maryland.
