They keep my lawn looking beautiful, they respect my wishes when I ask that no chemicals be used, they put together a couple of raised garden beds, cleared the space, laid ground fabric and mulch, filled the containers, installed deer fencing, and now I have a wonder garden! They aerate my lawn every fall and also clean my gutters. These guys are amazing. They are also reliable with both showing up and invoicing. If you need a service for your yard, give them a call. They installed a new front stoop and a new front walkway. They performed a new drainage installation. They installed new footings for the deck posts and added decorative gravel under the deck area. “We hired The Landscapers to execute a good size landscaping project in our backyard in September. Our project included grading, underground drainage systems, building stone stair and walkways, stone retaining walls, covering a cement patio and walls with stone, a river stone field, and plants.We chose The Landscapers after getting estimates from three other landscaping companies because Evan Brown, the company owner, carefully listened to what we wanted and clearly understood what the end result should be. In addition, we spoke with several past clients who highly recommended the Landscapers. Price wise, the Landscapers’ estimate was not the least expensive nor was it the most expensive.Evan estimated that the job would take two and a half to three weeks, but it actually took nearly six weeks. There were a couple of days that were rained out, but generally the time estimate was too optimistic.Prior to starting the job, we met Evan at a local quarry to select the stone for our project. Evan advised us about the pros and cons of the different types of stone and had us choose each pallet of stone for our project. This was fun and ensured that we would get exactly the stone color that we wanted.Evan’s crew was excellent, from the foreman to the workers. They were professional, communicative, conscientious, and extremely hard working. The stonework came out beautifully, and it’s clear that they didn’t cut corners to get the work done faster.The overall project was more extensive and labor intensive than we had imagined. “I would highly recommend LGA for your next home improvement project . He fulfilled my five year dream of having a shower in the basement so my elderly parents don't have to climb two stairs . So many plumbers and others visited us and either ghosted us or provided a cost we couldn't afford . Levi is very professional, honest , sincere, punctual . He gives a no nonsense free estimate and that's what you will pay. They leave the workspace absolutely clean and sparkling. He said it will be done by this Friday and he stayed and finished by Friday . He covered and contained the rest of the room to avoid dust and after cleaning up put back everything. Most importantly the work was high quality with smooth finish. During the course of the work I made two extra modifications to make it easier for my monand he understood our needs and took everything very seriously and paid attention to details. He did plumbing , breaking and pouring concrete, dry wall, painting , electrical, and put new doors for utility rooms and everything aesthetically pleasing All for a highly reasonable quote.“

“This review is long overdue. We started our landscaping project 3/27/23 and not be any happier with the end results. It is now July and I can give a fair and honest review of the work and how it has held up for at least the last 4 months. We had a retaining wall placed at the end our driveway. The rain kept coming down the driveway and running over our small concrete ledge and spilling into our inground pool. We decided to have an 18 in wall built that was tall enough to be a seat for basketball viewers in our driveway. It has been perfect and the rain drains directly into the drain! In addition to that, we had new fencing placed around our pool, new steps with landscape bush edges, rocks with ground underneath to absorb rain to extend our pool area, concrete deck for our new Amish shed, removal of a well, removal of concrete fountain and a circular patio built.Pros: Steven Talcott is the best! I am not an imaginative person. Steve offered his expertise with the reasoning behind it. I am a nurse in a leadership role and we all know that the people want to know "why" and Steven reviews options and plans and the why's behind certain decisions. However, the customers decision is what is followed through (if different then their recommendation). The craftsmanship is excellent. I have been getting compliments from all my neighbors! His staff were very nice and courteous, always showing manners with please and thank you's.The fencing company was contracted out and when they broke a pipe in our ground, Steven had it fixed on his dime.When there were any delays (only on the fencing install), he communicated via email, phone and text.Con: the only con I can think of, which is not at the company's fault is that weeds will find a way to grow under rocks even though they placed over 6 layers of contractor preventative sheets.I think the only thing I would have done differently, is skipped the rocks and extended the concrete around my pool.Now, I'm just saving more funds until our next project with Steven and his team!“

“I can’t say enough good things about HEMAX. As we were preparing to sell our house, we discovered some cracks in our foundation. HEMAX came in and did an amazing job repairing it and reinforcing it and did it very quickly because they know we wanted to get the house on the market. It involved a lot of craftsmen and the quality was superb. Max and Henry are very responsive and courteous and we decided to add a few more tasks to the project while they were on site.
