Mara is so great! I am very picky when it comes to my estheticians, so much that I used to travel from Glen Burnie to Silver Spring because I couldn’t find a better one! When i moved to Crofton, I really wanted to find someone closer that I could trust. After trying multiple people, I found Mara and I am so glad I did! She is great, efficient, clean, and has such a wonderful, fun and open personality so it’s also lowkey going to therapy because we can talk about anything ? i get the Brazilian, belly trail, and occasionally get my underarms and legs waxed! I tried out Mara's Wax Studio after a recommendation from a friend and I am so glad I've found this little gem! I've been getting waxed for years, have been to waxing studios around the globe, and I must say that somehow Mara's is probably some of the least painful Brazilian waxes I've ever received! Not quite sure how she does it...but she does it and does it thoroughly. Her little studio is also very cute, clean, and inviting. She's super friendly and really makes sure you're comfortable while you're in her care. Mara is genuinely a kind and sweet person; I would definitely recommend Mara's Wax Studio for your waxing needs!
Bonus points: She has snacks!
My daughter is 11 and was having insecurities with facial hair. We wanted someone who understands youth AND would be gentle with her sensitive skin. Insert Mara!! She was so kind and friendly, talking my daughter through everything. She is always on time and above expectations in cleanliness and sanitary environment. Would HIGHLY recommend Mara to anyone seeking waxing services.
