They charged me for a wash and straighten when I wrote on the sign-in sheet, called and asked for a wash and set (the price would've difference been my tip, so I didn't raise an issue). Also, the stylist was very rough with my hair, clearly prioritizing speed over hair health since she started from the mid-shaft and pulled her way down. However, they accommodated me an hour before closing. The salon was clean, and I liked my hair.

Overall I had a great experience. I was immediately greeted and serviced upon arrival. At the shampoo bowl, the stylist (or employee) noticed I had dandruff and shampooed me with a different product to help this area and detangled my hair carefully. The blowout was also nice (nothing out of the ordinary). I asked for curls and she did that and was very polite. She also offered me water.

Only reason I would say 4 stars is the price (really that’s probably my fault I should have asked at the beginning). I’ve never paid $100 for a blowout before and I noticed the price said starting at $85 for extensions. For me, it’s too expensive to go on the regular...read full review
