“I went to Susan Lawrence, PT to have MPS therapy for scar release after an abdominoplasty. The treatment is not painful, I had a total of 5 sessions, and I experienced noticeable improvement after the first session. My scar tissue was very tight before my first visit and about a day after my first session the tightness had softened, allowing me to stand more upright. After 5 sessions, the swelling above the scar has subsided, and sensation has returned. Overall my scar is flatter, thinner, and has very little fibrosis beneath. MPS therapy was a beneficial part of my post operative care, if I ever have surgery again I would definitely go back.“

I’d never had acupuncture done before, but I’ve been struggling with some things lately so figured why not give it a try. She made me feel at ease, reassured and very understood. I’ve never had an experience like this with any service provider before where I feel I’m actually being heard instead of talked at. She takes her time to get to know you and to explain her process. “I've been seeing Robin for almost 2 years now, and she never ceases to amaze me with her healing treatments and put my mind at ease. I initially saw her post pregnancy, but have now been able to experience her magic throughout my 2nd pregnancy. From morning sickness treatments, back and sciatica pain, pregnancy/covid stress, and most recently talking me through a breach baby (she had more info than the Gyno!) Robin has been a bright light in my otherwise extremely socially distant world. She has gone out of her way to make things easier for her patients during covid, by updating her booking software and payment systems, including a great wait list feature. The office is extremely clean and takes covid precautions very seriously. I still enthusiastically recommend Robin after 2 yrs and also consider myself lucky to have made a hilarious, witty, and kind hearted friend along the way. When the 17 year cicada apocalypse breaks out in 2021, Robin will be my first stop for refuge!“
“o my dear husband has been a patient of Dr. Downes for almost 6 months or longer. Who knew she would be my saving grace. For several weeks I struggled to talk. After seeing every doctor from ENT specialist, speech pathologist and a team of neurologists, no one could figure out why I was having a hard time talking.My husband made a call and all was changed. “I am Japanese and have had so many experiences of Acupuncture since I was 6 years old. Dr. Susan is one of the best acupuncturists I have been to. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I had really bad knees and heels from over work/aging for months. I wanted to try anything before surgery or strong meds and went to several acupuncture places but could not find a cure. My neighbor highly recommended Dr. Susan so I gave it a shot. Dr. Susan is a pleasant sweet person who genuinely cares for her clients and their well-being. She asks many questions to understand your background and does family-like treatment. Dr. Susan is a licensed physical therapist as well and she is REALLY good at finding acupuncture points. Dr. Susan uses Japanese needle that is a well-made thin needle like cat hair. So you may feel nothing through a treatment. Usually acupuncture takes a time to show differences but I felt big improvement at her first treatment. I received 4 treatments in the first month and am 90% recovered already. I do come back for "tune ups" every two weeks now. This facility is clean and well maintained. My husband, who is a MD of western medicine, is her client now. I recommend her to anyone and everyone.“

As a dog trainer overuse of certain areas of my body has lead to injuring myself or feeling nagging pain in my shoulders and back at times.
