MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center you are the worst hospital I have ever been to and your emergency room staff should be ashamed at the way I was treated. Not only was I totally dismissed during an emergency, your lack of compassion, unprofessionalism and history of bad management will cause the downfall of this hospital.
I experienced a post surgical emergency and instead of trying to help, you dismissed me and served your friends. I was left hollering in pain in the ER waiting room for hours before my husband took me to another hospital where I was immediately treated upon arrival. My son was injured on a golf course when the golf cart flipped over. Took him to MedStar in Waldorf and they told me to take him to the main hospital to get an Ultrasound because they said he may have a blood clot from his injuries. That was at 7:00pm. It's now 12:30am and he still has not seen a doctor. Been waiting on Ultrasound result some 4 hours....RESULTS!!!! It's beyond horrible and then they expect you to wait hours for some simple results and instructions that take all of a couple minutes to go over, give care instructions, a doctors note, and we can leave.
