My daughter takes voice and piano at Chevy Chase Arts Academy and we absolutely love it. Jeanette for voice and Nikea for piano. Both such fantastic, supportive, and cool teachers who make music truly fun and inspirational. My daughter has grown so much as a musician because she gets to sing/play the music that she’s drawn to and not just follow a script. The practice rooms are big and new and Alexandria who helps with scheduling and everything else is a gem. It’s our second music school in the DC-area, for a kid who wants to be a musician and takes it very seriously, but still wants to have fun - and we’ve definitely found our musical home in the area. My son takes piano and has he loves it. His teacher is so flexible and recognizes his needs immediately. I am amazed of how fast he has learned.
My daughter takes drums and she loves her teacher too. She is having so much fun and learning a ton.
We have attended classes at CCAA for the past three years. We absolutely love it. The staff is helpful and attentive, and always focused on ensuring that our daughters are getting top-quality music instruction. The community is supportive and fun, and every time we go we see smiling faces.
