Allowing your employees to drive recklessly without consequences is dangerous and stupid (especially in the company van).

I had a negative experience dealing with this company. Normally I would not take the time to post a review like this. I like to focus on the positive things. I would not work with them on any project under any circumstances. Reading other reviews it's clear they are negligent regarding safety.

Excellent electricians, of coarse, and they are quick to respond to your every need. I just had two light switches changed out, one for the hall light and the other for the closet light. The order of the switches was reversed, and Patrick was kind enough to exchange the switches to the proper order. Hall light first, and closet second. I feel that the admin side is a little slow to charge my checking account after the work was completed, but the price was reasonable. Also they desperately need an active Web site so the customer can write-up the job and save time for both parties. Very Best--Gregory

7/10/24 at approximately 3pm on Cromwell bridge road one of your trucks (pick up) was driving aggressively and recklessly. Not smart driving like a fool in a company truck.

Serious Safety Concern Involving Northeast Electric EmployeeI recently had a very troubling experience with a Northeast Electric Company employee, Robert Upton. On 1/30/2024 in Dupont Circle DC, Mr. Upton, while driving a company vehicle, hit me as I was using a pedestrian walkway. This reckless action endangered my safety and was followed by Mr. Upton exhibiting extremely aggressive behavior, including highly inappropriate comments. Most concerningly, Mr. Upton explicitly told me to "go kill myself." Such a statement is not only unacceptable but also raises serious concerns about his suitability to represent a company in any capacity.The lack of professionalism and disregard for public safety displayed by Mr. Upton is alarming. I am currently considering legal action due to the severity of the incident. However, I am inclined to reconsider this decision if Northeast Electric Company takes responsible action by addressing this behavior, which should include reviewing Mr. Upton's employment.I have attached images from a video recording of the incident to this review. These images vividly capture how aggressively Mr. Upton charged towards me, highlighting the threat posed to my safety.This incident reflects negatively on Northeast Electric Company, and I urge the management to take immediate steps to ensure such incidents are not repeated, prioritizing public safety and professional conduct.

I have used them for years at hundreds of properties. They do good electrical work at a good price. If that's what you are looking for then you will like them. That's why every management company in DC uses them. If it is important to you that you get a work order immediately emailed to you and to be able to pay via Venmo, then reset your expectations or find somebody else and pay 20% more.

Not sure if I was more disappointed in the fact that I couldn’t rate this company lower than 1 star, or their services. They will come off as if it’s their way or the highway; so if customer service isn’t important to you, this may be the company for you. Also be careful of the tone you use: if it’s not pleasing enough, they may hang up. Would be surprised if they’re BBB verified. K byee
