If I could give Constantine 10 stars I would. My first encounter with C&A was based on a Checkbook article. I had a problem with my circuit breaker box. Two contractors quoted me $3200 and $2800 to repair it. Constantine repaired the box within an initial visit for less than $150.00. My second service call was equally impressive. C&A resolved several electrical challenges that we encountered during a kitchen refurbishment. His attention to detail and advice on potential problems was invaluable. What a fantastic family owned company! I have now use them several times for different jobs Including wiring a new kitchen island, hanging large kitchen pendants, hanging a chandelier, installing new ceiling lights and sconces in two different bathrooms, installing undercabinet lights, and installing bathroom fans. They've done a very high-quality job each time. Most of my work was done by Constantin and his apprentice Jose. I can't say enough things about each. Constantin is a master electrician with a lifetime of knowledge, and Jose is a very bright apprentice, who was extremely helpful at figuring out a couple of complex problems. I called C&A as a first time customer. After describing the problem, which involved sparks, the man answering the phone assured me that they would send someone out that day. A few hours later, Constantine and Jose were at the house. Constantine is a straightforward, experienced professional who now trains other electricians. Jose was equally professional and provided good insights about the problem and solutions. They identified a grounding issue and also repaired a poorly-installed switch.
