Our unit was scheduled for a routine check by another company about 2-3 months ago.
I was told I need new capacitor, new contactor, and the compressor may go bad soon, and it will be about $3000 plus, (it is the old style?) and the system is 10 years old or more, we may as well replace it, for around $14,000.
Then later on there was not enough cold air from the vent to cool the house sufficiently.
We call Ocean Breeze for the second opinion, Brian T. checked it out and he found system shutdown periodically from poorly drained condensation pipe. The AC is working great now.

I have to remark how wonderful my interactions were (and always are) with RYAN who answered a service call to my condo today. I hope he never changes and I hope people will always be kind to him. He is a rare find. He let me tag along on top of the roof and showed me every little detail on my unit. He answered all my stupid questions porfessionally and just being in his company was an education and a complete pleasure. I don't want to ramble on but I cannot overemphasize how impressed I am with his wonderful demeanor. Thank you Ocean Breeze!
