Acqua Nails was the spot back in the day, but it has since taken a turn. The ladies seem unhappy and irritable, the prices are wayyyy too steep and the vibe is just not good in the salon. I paid $70 before tip for a gel pedicure and I just went to nail design in Bethesda and paid $53 for the same quality gel pedicure. Please lower your prices, Aqua Nails! I live so close but I go out of my way to other places because your prices are unfair and your staff is unfriendly.

People are nice. Facility is only OK, but clean. Your experience will strongly depend on who you work with. Some ladies are very experienced and attentive and go to people. Some I’ve never worked with and have no feedback to provide. Easy parking, nice enough vibe.

I go to this salon every few weeks for a regular pedicure and manicure. I actually don’t go anywhere else these days, so not sure how the prices compare. It does seem fairly expensive to me these days, but everything seems to be. I have had my share of manicures and pedicures in my life, and I think this place is good. It’s clean and hygienic. Some of the techs are better than others, and I do feel like the services are sometimes rushed. But I definitely don’t think the one star reviews are at all warranted.
