Sonidos Music & More is a cool little record shop located in the old Circuit City in College Park. It offers a broad selection of albums, cassettes, and videos, featuring "oldies but goodies" for nostalgic visitors. The friendly staff keeps everything well organized, and there is even a record player for customers to use before buying. With great vibes and a huge catalog, it's definitely worth a visit. Customers have discovered some Hendrix on vinyl they didn't know existed, including a Venezuelan label release of Hendrix & Curtis Knight with additional tracks and mixes. The selection of vinyl is cool, and the store is described as small and cute. Visitors have walked away with records they didn't know they needed for their collection. The owner is really cool, and the space is dope with a lot of good finds.
10 out of 10!! I had an amazing visit to the shop and came out richer for the albums I found!! The album recommended to me after I list a few random semi-obscure artists was absolutely spot on!! One of the great vinyl shops! Amazing selection, great conversation; all in all time and money well spent!!
I owned vinyl as a kid, but haven’t owned a player since I was a young teen. Made my first hobby purchase of vinyls from here in November 2020. The owner was patient and caring. She makes sure customers stay safe with COVID-19 prevention measures, and answers questions with a friendly attitude. It was a great way to start off as a new collector. The shop has a solid selection of albums from across the genre spectrum and they’re priced fairly and affordably. Recommend this store for anyone who is new to collecting like me. 10/10
