My neighbor's mature old oak tree fell on my house and put a hole in my roof and attic at 11:15 p.m., almost midnight. The impact was so loud, we thought we were being bombed in DC. Several insurance contractors came to give an estimate. Fireworks Construction was one of them. Their roof mechanic named Oscar climbed up on my roof to examine the damage. I was so depressed at this juncture, dealing with insurance companies and the like. Oscar, however, knew exactly what kind of shingles I had, Grand Manor, a relatively unknown high-end brand.
