“I begin my review by simply stating that Quality Window and Door is the one and only company from whom I would ever purchase new windows and doors. About four years ago, when I decided to build a new home, my contractor highly recommended that I meet with Mike Steckel at Quality Window and Door to have them supply the patio and exterior doors. Mike was a great pleasure to work with. He spent several hours with me, and explained the benefits of going with WeatherShield patio and ProVia entry doors. His knowledge of these and the competitor’s products was unsurpassed. He provided samples of windows and doors from other manufacturers in order to to clearly show the superior design and construct of the WeatherShield and ProVia products. Mike’s presentation was very informative and there was absolutely no hard sell. As a result of this meeting, I purchased a WeatherShield double patio door and ProVia front entry door.
The first two winters in my new home were quite mild, but the third one was abnormally cold and windy. During the third winter I noticed that the sliding panels of the patio doors were leaking cold air into the house. I contacted Nick Neidig, the President at Quality Window and Door, and explained the situation. Nick was very understanding; he said not to worry, and assured me that the issue would be fully resolved. What impressed me was his relaxed demeanor as we spoke and his commitment to stand behind every product sold, with customer satisfaction being paramount. A few months later, Nick and a representative from WeatherShield corporate met at my home to look at the door and decide how to resolve the issue. A week later Art Aungst, the window and door technician arrived. Art is a master craftsman at assessing and resolving window and door issues. He removed the sliding panels and determined that the vertical interlocking seals on each panel needed to be move a half inch over. When the panels were reinstalled, the seals were now airtight and there was no flex in the vertical stiles. After doing some additional mechanical adjustments, the door opened and closed perfectly.
As Nick had said, the issue would be fully resolved, IT WAS, and the customer would be satisfied, AND I AM. For all of the reasons explained above, I am so grateful to be a customer of Quality Window and Door and to have met Nick and all of the individuals associated with him. I have no reservations in recommending Quality Window and Doors. You too will be a happy and satisfied customer.”
