Jessica & the crew at Deer Creek Canine have been very helpful in our puppy training journey. She is kind and patiently explains/demonstrates commands for us to work on throughout the class. They really take the time to ask you about what you are having trouble with and work on teaching you how to change the negative behavior. Prior to classes Honey was eating random objects while out on walks and trying to dart out of the door any time it opened. In 3 short weeks she has improved tremendously and walking her/ opening our front door has been a lot more enjoyable. I take my GSD here for the structured play group. I originally brought him here to help with his socialization and his fear based reactivity. I do not trust strangers with my dogs at all, but I had heard good things about Deer Creek and was appreciative that he would always be watched in play group.
I cannot say enough good things about them. My boy has a great time coming here and definitely has him tired at the end of the day. They go above and beyond for all the ‘special events’. For a dog mom just obsessed with her son, the Mother’s Day gift, the goodie bags and the photo card are so special to me. Lola did great with her Sit Means Sit training. Stephanie was great and we are learning skills so we can have visitors over without Lola jumping up on them or paying them to be petted. We now have dinner without her jumping up. Definitely recommend the traing if you are ready to have your dog demonstrate behaviors that make your life more enjoyable for you and your dog.
