Kathy did my nails and they turned out sooo cute! I brought a reference photo and she did an incredible job with it. We also had a nice chat while she did my nails. 10/10, I will definitely be back!

I usually love this place but the last few times I’ve been here have not been good unfortunately. Within a week of my dip powder manicure on natural nails and gel pedicure, both of them haave chipped. I can’t believe I got my nails done a week ago and they look horrible! It looks like I’ve had this dip for 3 weeks. My gel pedicure can last months. This gel chipped within a week. On top of that the lady who did my pedicure was rude and I felt like she was rushing. At the end of my pedicure she put the oil on feet and didn’t rub it in causing me to slip and slide all over the place. The lady who did my nails was nice but not sure why she only dipped my twice. I hadn't been to Mt Vernon Nails in years (not since I was in my acrylic nail phase) but I made an appointment for a much needed pedicure. The salon is clean, bright, and well maintained. The ladies working here are friendly but you do need an appointment since they get pretty busy and walk ins aren't always accepted depending on the day. I had Maya for my pedicure and she was efficient without feeling like I was being rushed. I also liked that she didn't pressure me into adding anything onto my classic gel pedicure.
