Poor service..nurse left my very ill mother waiting for almost 3 hours to have a picc line replaced. Could not bother to call or advise us. Excuse was traffic. We had to travel over an hour to meet them and they were close to 3 hours late. Seriously? In this day and age? We called twice and were told 15 min. 45 min later they showed up.

Because it is important to me to be fair, barring a reason not to I try to start with the positive. Many of the home care nurses at Chesapeake are part-time and have other full time jobs usually in nursing. More than a few of those nurses were very good. Because of the actions and nastiness of the management, if it were possible to give zero stars, I would not hesitate to do so. I understand that we are in the midst of Corona but that does not excuse the Director of Nursing making rude, nasty comments to me as a patient, nor does it excuse her openly disagreeing with my physicians who ordered my home infusions of IV antibiotics.
