I was traveling for Thanksgiving. Enroute to Baltimore the transmission started acting up. I knew I would need work at sometime as my Suburban has > 110,000 miles on it, but this was not a good time. I delivered the truck to Rob R. at 3:00 the Tuesday before this major holiday. Although he had tempered my expectation saying anything major would not be done until the following week, he called me two hours later to report my transmission would need major work. I accepted a rebuilt GM tranmission Rob offered me and was able to pick up my restored vehicle the next day. I could not in my wildest dreams expected a better or quicker outcome.
