Our daughter has been attending classes here for about 6 months. And I have thus far been very impressed! The Instructor & Master there is patient,friendly and very knowledgeable.I don’t know how,but he remembers all the kids names, never forgets!

My children are having the best time learning at Arbutus Martial Arts. The teachers and environment are down to earth and family oriented. Firm but patient. I would recommend to anyone who doesn't need fancy but does want competent teachers in a welcoming environment.

Arbutus Martial Arts is a fantastic place to learn and grow. I started when I was 9, got my first-degree black belt at 12, second-degree black belt at 15. I'm 25 now, and just started going back after moving away for college and coming back to the area. I have learned so much in my years there, not only how to protect myself, but how to be a better person. Maturity, respect, self control are taught from the beginning and I see so many people flourishing there.Not knowing whether you can protect yourself or not in an unforeseen circumstance is not a comforting feeling.
