I am a black woman and was looking for a new hairstylist. I phoned around to a lot of salons, but very few white stylists were trained in how to cut black people's hair. I realize I am making an assumption and shouldn't. I first met Ket at Buffies and then followed her to another salon that I don't remember the name of. When she told me she was opening her own salon, I was so thrilled. Happy to see Ket unleash her creative side not just in the hair designs which she was already a master at. No, Ket was able to finally show off her design talents in her very own shop. I don't recall any bad experiences in all the years that I have been going. The young ladies that Ket has working for her are amazing! They all bring their own brand of talent and I think you would be super lucky to have any of them working on your hair. The Estheticians are amazing, not an easy job my hat goes off to you ladies. I really love going to Tantrum whether it be for hair services, pedicure, or wax. It is a wonderful spot to just escape and forget all your problems for a little while. Love Tantrum!!!
Been here many times. This beautiful young lady Maya is so nice and sweet and good at her job. Got makeup done for an event once, it was very precise and well thought of considering my skin colour, absolutely loved it. she was great with hair care as too. And then there is Lynn, super sweet and I have been an always satisfied customer ! 😊 thanks ladies .
I recommend Tantrum Salon and spa to everyone I know. They are so talented. You show a picture of what you want and it’s exactly what you get. Whether it be hair colour, hairdo, or nails! I’m always impressed. I also love how they recommend the right products to use on your hair. They are always looking out for your hair! I’ve been going there since it opened and I’ll never go anywhere else. They have so many services to offer and it’s such a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Look no further! Tantrum is the place to go!
