Not quite the same selection as the mega box stores but the basics are better. Lumber, insulation, screws and nails. They sell in bulk not just bubble packs.
I find the staff friendlier than most and the overall store vibe a little more laid-back. I choose it to support local business.
I had to wait 10 minutes for the paint guy to come out from his lunch break at 2:30pm… then he couldn’t match my stain colour; maybe 5 customers in the whole store. Then went to the “yard” to pickup my lumber. Had to wait for 5-6 minutes there. Again, I was the only one there. It seemed like all the employees were in no hurry to do anything. Nice clean store, though.
