Staff have been friendly and appointments on time. Dr Lenoski has been empathetic to me with my injury, following up nearly weekly and making appropriate recommendations, further testing and referrals. I am appreciative of his care during this stressful and painful time

I’ve been here multiple times for various injuries and always have been impressed with the care I have received. The physicians are thorough & thoughtful. I have not felt rushed in my interactions (which is different than other sports medicine encounters I have had in the past). Would highly recommend if you need to see a sports medicine doctor or rheumatologist!

I read some previous reviews before booking that mostly referred to the unfriendly reception area. When I booked they weren’t what I would call friendly but they were right to the point. That fine - they’re busy. Want a friendly receptionist? Go to pan am and wait months or stand in line at 5am. I got into Legacy within a week. When I came in for my appointment they were all friendly.I saw Dr Van Ooteghem & Dr McKay which were both amazing. X-Ray tech was also great.The worst thing about this place is the parking, and even then it’s other people who can’t park that make it annoying.

Legacy Sport Medicine has two locations in Winnipeg, serving patients of all age. Rheumatologists, Orthopedic Surgeons, Physiatrist, and Pediatric Sport Medicine physician see patients by referral only. Sport Medicine physicians do not require referrals for simple or recent concerns. Referrals are preferred if other physicians have explored the same issue in the past two years, particularly when imaging (CT, MRI, x-ray) or surgical intervention are involved. By appointment only. A few near-future appointments are reserved for Acute injuries - call for availability. Legacy shares the facility with Elite Sports Injury, Performance Healthware, and X-ray, providing access to a wide variety of treatment options to optimize recovery.
