St-Léon Gardens is the best market I've been to. It has the most amazing smell (fresh veggies and fruits) and I wish I could bottle up that smell. It is a beautiful open style market with over 200 local contributors including farmers, bakers and artists.
Since Boycotting Superstore/Loblaws I have been trying to find local markets. I would MUCH rather spend our money at local markets then give 1 cent more to greedy corporations that don't care about us. I loved this market. It’s the best market in Winnipeg. The fruit and vegetables make me hungry. Easy to cook since they are fresh and amazing looking. However the line is over one hour long.
