After researching Teakwondo schools in Wpg, I decided that Elite TKD seemed to most meet our needs. My son has experienced a lot of loss and bullying. We needed a group that would help build confidence, a sense of security and strength. Master Banares and the black belts are very supportive and great instructors. In less then 2 months they have helped build confidence and a willingness to participate which my son had lost. In less then 2 months my son was physically and mentally prepared to participate in the 10th Annual Teakwondo Invitational at the U of M. He did very well and even brought home a silver metal. He is proud of himself and says that its a testament to Master Banares and the black belts for teaching him so much so quickly. At the hands of Master Banares, we learn valued traditions in a modern environment. The workouts are amazing and one never gets the same workout twice! Spending quality with my own family in class has developed strong family bonds and enduring memories and great laughs. "The family that kicks together stays together".
