About Cobra Collectibles

Welcome to Cobra Collectibles, your one stop shop for all things nerdy and nostalgic. This family-run, museumesque toy store in downtown Winnipeg offers a wide range of toys, comics, and games from customers' childhoods. It is a great place for both kids and collectors to explore. The store has a pleasant atmosphere, with plenty of items to browse through. Despite displays sometimes feeling a bit cluttered, making it challenging to locate specific items, the store offers great prices and is a treasure trove of 80s toys and video game consoles, as well as a smattering of newer items. Customers mention finding amazing candy and the staff is very helpful, polite, and personable. The stock is well organized by category with good signage. One customer even found the same version of Transformers from their childhood, including all accessories. This store is so amazing, a customer from out of town would travel to Winnipeg any day just to browse their collection.

I think I've been to Cobra at least three times already, and every time I've walked out, I wasn't empty handed! I usually come for their Transformers collection and they do not disappoint. Staff are super friendly and helpful when it comes to finding figures I want, and the pricing for items is also very reasonable. I love the little spin to win wheel as well (I've been fortunate enough to win something every time 😆). This is a great place to go if you're a collector for anything, not just Transformers! But if you like Transformers, definitely check this place out :)

It was a good selection of 70s 80s and 90s toys and games prices are a little high but it’s a niche market so if you don’t wanna go garage sailing this is a one stop shop for everything you didn’t get for Christmas in 1985. My only bone to pick with the stores that they sell candy at 50% off in a bin and today my kids bought three different assorted candies one had rancid oil on the outside of it smelled terrible the other had turned from pink to brown in the packaging and all of the expiry dates were at least two years out of date. so needless to say don’t buy their candy in the bargain bin.

Great collectible store with a solid selection of figures, cards, and pop culture items. The shop is well organized, prices are fair for the market, and you can tell the owners actually care about what they sell. Staff was knowledgeable and easy to talk to — no pressure, no upselling nonsense. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into collectibles or just want to browse something different
