I have been going to American Nails for at least 10yrs. I have tried a couple of nail salons after moving further away which was very disappointing. I drive halfway across town because of their amazing work and friendly, talented staff (I always get nail art on my toes & fingers) I have even been able to get my husband hooked on Mani/Pedi's. We recently had our nails (hubby-mani/pedi. Me shellac Pedi, Acrylic Mani) for our Wedding photos which were 10 days after our appt and in Hawaii (we were at the beach everyday prior). Love, Love, Love them!

I used to recommend them all the time. I would like to continue recommending them but after my last couple experiences I'm not sure I can anymore. The last visit was by far the worst. I have send a PM but still no reply. I commented on photo above to prompt someone to review PM and get back to me and still no response. So my last resort is to write a review which requires me to answer yes or no (no option to choose maybe or depends), because it depends on the response I get. Before I left on holidays I got a pedicure done at your establishment. It's a bit of a drive for me but my nails typically last more than a month when done there so I wanted to be sure feet would last thru my vacation and beyond. I do not like shellac. I have always just got regular pedi and up until the last few visits, the polish would last far longer than my first cut. I made an appt for Jan 24 and left on our vacation 2 days later. The day after I arrived while walking outside in my flip flops I noticed the polish already had started to chip. I have never been so disappointed in a nail.job. For the rest of the trip I watched the polish chip away. I have a photo of what they looked like only 5 days later and what they look like now. it hasn't even been a month. This is terribly upsetting and unacceptable. (Photos are shared in comments below and in PM)
