The lady that did the first part of the appointment and took payment was lovely. The optometrist was fine, not friendly but was professional. He seemed annoyed when I asked about Pupil Distance and brushed me off to I assume a tech for that. That man was condescending, saying unless I was getting glasses there, he’d save me $25 because ordering online usually comes out inaccurate. He spent more time talking badly about ordering online when he could have just said “whatever store you order from will measure you”. I wasn’t going to shop online, there just wasn’t much selection at this Walmart, and I paid for an exam and didn’t know why a quick 2 second measurement... read full review

They don't want to help you by letting you know what you need for your left eye/right eye to order more affordable glasses online. They are purposely difficult. I don't recommend getting an eye exam done there.

22 years ago I had Lazer eye treatment & my ophthamologist who performed the surgery informed me that possible down the road I may encounter issue's related to age such as cataracts etc. Lately I noticed vision loss in one eye. Informed my ophthamologist who directed me to see an optometrist to perform a dilated eye exam. Knowing that my local Walmart has a vision center, I booked an appointment & let them know that a report was needed by the surgeon. The exam was performed & a prescription was given to me for glasses stating that my eye issue was not correctable by Lazer treatment etc. My surgeon waited for the report & sent several requests but... read full review
