Stop & Shine Car Wash in Headingley is a notable coin-operated car wash with large bays and consistently clean facilities. It offers a change machine for convenience and has ten wash bays, usually with minimal waiting time. One loonie provides a short wash time, but a toonie offers significantly more time. The staff is helpful and came up to assist with bill changes during one visit. Overall, it is a clean and efficient car wash option in the Assiniboia/St James area.
There is often a lineup of cars outside and when you get inside there is 2-3 old guys slowly hand drying their vehicle, or cleaning out their trunk. Owner has tried to address the issue but it remains a problem. Because of the consistently long wait times due to people hand drying their cars, I will likely invest in a high end pressure washer and start cleaning at home. People suck! Car wash is decent, little bit pricey compared to others though.
I like coming here to wash my vehicles and it's rarely busy, but please fix that pothole at the exit which has been there for months! At least fill it with gravel or something. Thanks!
It was pretty muddy in the stalls.. but the weather is grimy right now. One was not functioning. No attendant on site. They had good pressure, temperature, and duration. Costed 10 bucks for my grubby SUV.. I really could have used a vacuum!
