The clinic's veterinarian, Dr. Nick Kotsopolous, is known for being amazing, kind, and caring, providing reassurance and guidance to pet owners. He is thorough during examinations, takes the time to listen to concerns, and follows up with personal calls after procedures. Dr. Nick is also compassionate and dedicated, remembering pets' names, conditions, and medical events. Pet owners appreciate the clinic's exceptional care and have returned for years, even after moving to different locations. The clinic's team is also appreciated for their kindness and care. Dr. Nick is so caring, patient, and understanding, often returning calls until 8 pm and providing his personal cell phone number for any issues post-sedation, regardless of the procedure. From tumor removal surgery to dental cleaning, he calls to check on the pets and asks about how the pet owners are doing. The clinic also has a fantastic groomer, Colleen, who is kind, compassionate, and prompt with returning calls. She has always made the long-haired cats look adorable and smell nice after shaving them in the summer. If there is a specialized surgery Dr. Nick cannot perform, he refers the owners to excellent surgeons. The staff are also above and beyond caring and loving for end-of-life issues. Dr. Nick truly seems to love his work, and it will be a loss whenever he retires.
My puppy Suzie was seen today for her first visit with Rt. 20 Animal Clinic, 5/2/2025 for a health check, to be chipped, her nails trimmed and a few medical shots.
Suzie is 3 months of age but I’ve only had her a very short time, about 5 weeks now.
I could not possibly be happier with her new Dr., Nicholas Kotsopopoulos, than I am right now while this visit is at his facility @ 84 Southwest Cutoff, Worcester MA. 01604

I just cannot say enough about Route 20 Animal Clinic, Dr. Nick Kotsopolous, and staff, especially Colleen.
My parents and I have been taking our pets to the clinic for over 20 years. Dr. Nick is so caring, patient, and understanding. Often he's returning calls until 8pm and has given his personal cell phone number if there are any issues post sedation, regardless of procedure. From tumor removal surgery to dental cleaning he calls to check on our pets. He will also ask about how my parents are doing and their pets when I go for a visit with mine.
