RATS NEST is a welcoming business with a comfortable and nice environment. The staff, including Jennalee and Brie, are friendly and easy to talk to. They cater to individual needs, including those of the LGBTQ+ community. The results are wonderful, and clients are happy with their experiences. The vibe is super chill, making it a great place to relax and socialize.
I've been going to Brie for haircuts for several years and she always does a great job! I have thick, straight hair and her razor technique helps give it shape, lightness and movement. The salon itself is small with only a couple of clients being seen at a time, which creates a very chill environment. I love the products they use - my allergies make me sensitive to many fragrances but I have never had so much as a sniffle from the shampoo or styling products here. They're also an inclusive, LGBTQ-friendly business, which makes me feel great about supporting the salon. Highly recommended!
Literally cannot say enough nice things about Jenna and the whole vibe/team at Rats Nest. Incredibly gender affirming, hilarious and kind, thoughtful and detailed, and all around fun. It's so nice to be able to get the exact haircut I pictured in my head! No regrets!
My partner got color done by Star and it was phenomenal. Super vibrant color with great design and a super friendly person! The spot is a little tricky to get to, on the third floor, but really not a big deal. Great experience, couldn’t be happier!
