“I needed very specific photos for Canadian citizenship applications for myself and my children. Photos I had had taken at a large pharmacy chain had been rejected, and so I was looking for a photographer who was familiar with the Canadian requirements. Chris Kisiel was not only familiar with them, I think he probably could have quoted them to me chapter and verse. He was very friendly, worked exceptionally well with my two children, one of whom is quite young, and even walked them through the photo editing processing. The photos themselves appear to be excellent and Chris measured them carefully to ensure they met the Canadian criteria prior to letting me walk out the door. While it is more expensive to have Chris take these photos than to go to a large pharmacy chain, I would urge anyone pursuing Canadian citizenship to do so nonetheless. It is far preferable to pay more now than to save a buck on the front end only to have your photos rejected 6 weeks later, after you paid $30+ to mail them to Canada, and then have to redo the whole process.
While I can't speak to his other merits as a photographer, I did note that Chris has a nice location for a variety of different types of photographs. There's a very charming sitting room, ideal for portraits, in the studio proper, and the studio itself is located within a stone's throw of both the Woburn library and City Hall - both of which provide lovely backgrounds for photographs. His skills as a photographer, alongside of his affable professionalism, make it very easy, then, for me to recommend him for services well beyond the type of photos he took for me.”
